Mark W. DeBolt

Mark began his career as an underwriter with The Continental Insurance Company. Several years later he joined Marsh, Inc., the worlds largest insurance brokerage company. Mark performed brokerage functions for Marsh along with working in the Risk Management Department conducting various actuarial studies (Property/Liability loss forecasting including Medical Malpractice and Hospital Professional Liability). Later Mark joined Guardian Industries Corp. looking after their global risk management exposures that covered glass manufacturing/fabrication, the oldest steel mill in America, oil field pump jack manufacturing, the third largest photo processor in the US, pharmaceutical distribution and the Detroit Pistons Basketball Team.

In1988 Mark joined Cummins Engine Company, Inc. (Now Cummins Inc.) and was in charge of all aspects of global risk management for 13 years. Later Mark was one of 12 employees selected to study how to take $50 Million of annual expense out of the company. Following successful completion of that team effort, Mark was assigned global responsibility for purchasing all corporate goods and services except engine parts. It was a $1 Billion expense and Mark was given a $100 Million cost reduction target. After exceeding the targets and with changes in his personal life, Mark launched his consulting business in 2001.
